Play With Your Food Meal Campaign Update

We're grateful for the incredible response to Play With Your Food and the overwhelming number of funding applications received through ChangeX! 🌟 Thank you for your enthusiasm for this meal idea!

We have now reached our allocated funding cap from the LEGO Foundation’s Community Play Fund. However,  because it’s likely that some applications will not succeed, there is currently a short waiting list for funding — please still submit your applications here as soon as possible! 

If you’re sitting there thinking, “Damn, I missed the funding opportunity!” but you really like the Play With Your Food idea, don’t worry!

Using OpenSeat, you can host a pay-to-attend event to cover your meal & venue costs and create memorable, playful experiences for families. Just register on OpenSeat here to begin this process. We would love to help workshop your meal idea and connect you to venues and caterers if required, so feel free to schedule a meeting with us and we can take it from there.

You can also purchase a Play With Your Food Hosting Package including OpenSeat & Play With Your Food-branded napkins and paper table runners with customisable prompts for guests to draw, write or converse. We can also provide customised QR code stamps that will enable hosts to link their guests to playful digital activities on a smartphone, or alternatively an easy way to ask guests to review your play-filled meal.
